The Hermitage Boat for rent in the heart of Amsterdam

Our grain ship, Hendrika, built in 1923 and turned into a houseboat in the '70s will be for rent as of November 1st. And before we put it on expat sites, we want to offer it to our inner circles.

Our boat is docked in the most beautiful and center part of Amsterdam, in the Amstel river in front of the Hermitage Museum. It is a two minute walk from one of the most famous squares, the Rembrandtsquare, five minutes away from Nieuwmarkt, the hotspot for the nightlife, restaurants and the famous Redlight districts.

You can explore the whole of Amsterdam by foot or bike from here.

We currently rent it out but after the summer it will be on the market again. Ideally it fits a single or a couple, but the sleep couch and bed in the hut could accommodate guests. In total the spaces are 92m2 calculated at floor level.

You can have BBQ's on the deck easily with ten-fifteen people.

The hut hosts a bar with views on the Keizersgracht, the Amstel and the famous Skinny Bridge. Which lights up beautifully at night, making this a true magical place.

You can park your sloep, kayak and sup boards, you can swim in the canals straight from your home.

Oh and the sunsets are amazing!
