The Hermitage Boat for rent in the heart of Amsterdam

Our grain ship, Hendrika, built in 1923 and turned into a houseboat in the '70s will be for rent as of April 1st.

Our boat is docked in the most beautiful and center part of Amsterdam, in the Amstel river in front of the Hermitage Museum. It is a two minute walk from one of the most famous squares, the Rembrandtsquare, five minutes away from Nieuwmarkt, the hotspot for the nightlife, restaurants and the famous Redlight districts.

You can explore the whole of Amsterdam by foot or bike from here.

It becomes available as of April 1st. The perfect hideaway for spring time. Ideally it fits a single or a couple, but the sleep couch and bed in the hut could accommodate guests. In total the spaces are 92m2 calculated at floor level.

You can have BBQ's on the deck easily with ten-fifteen people. (well, not now of course)

The hut hosts a bar with views on the Keizersgracht, the Amstel and the famous Skinny Bridge. Which lights up beautifully at night, making this a true magical place.

You can park your sloep, kayak and sup boards, you can swim in the canals straight from your home.

Oh and the sunsets are amazing!
