The Hermitage Boat for rent in the heart of Amsterdam

Our grain ship, Hendrika, built in 1923 and turned into a houseboat in the '70s is for rent.

Our boat is docked in the most beautiful and center part of Amsterdam, in the Amstel river in front of the Hermitage Museum. It is a two minute walk from one of the most famous squares, the Rembrandtsquare, five minutes away from Nieuwmarkt, the hotspot for the nightlife, restaurants and the famous (currently very empty) Red Light districts.

You can explore the whole of Amsterdam by foot or bike from here.

The perfect hideaway for the winter, very well suited for working at home in case that is needed 🤞. Ideally it fits a single or a couple, but the sleep couch and bed in the hut could accommodate guests. In total the spaces are 92m2 calculated at floor level.

The hut hosts a bar with views on the Keizersgracht, the Amstel and the famous Skinny Bridge, which lights up beautifully at night, making this a true magical place.

You can park your sloep, kayak and sup boards, you can swim in the canals straight from your home.

Check out some pictures below.

And read some nice reviews on AirBNB.

Oh and if you want to go Paddleboarding the canals while you are there -> availability

Is this the cutest bedroom you've ever seen?

Oh and check these sunsets!
